Sad enough to say that alone I can barely light a match, but together we can burn this place down.

"I’m sick of the things, I do when I’m nervous
Like cleaning the oven or checking my tires
Or counting the number of tiles on the ceiling
Head for the hills, the kitchen’s on fire

I used to rely on self-medication
I guess I still do that from time to time
But I’m getting better at fighting the future
Someday you’ll be fine”

Over three years James Mollison photographed fans outside different concerts for his project The Disciples. As I photographed the project I began to see how the concerts became events for people to come together with surrogate ‘families’, a chance to relive their youth or try and be part of a scene that happened before they were born.”

  • Oasis
  • Morrissey
  • Björk
  • The Cure

This is fantastic. And before I even read what this was, my first thought about the top group was, “These people look like Oasis fans.”

This is one of my favourite photosets! I know I’ve reblogged it before but it’s too awesome.

TOP 5 FAVORITE SHOWS

#2: The Cadets 2011 - Between Angels & Demons

To say that this was good would be insulting it. The concept behind this show was one in a million. Hats off to George Hopkins, the Corps Director. Probably THE BEST DRUM BREAK OF ALL TIME. The difference between 1st and 2nd that year was .55. Just amazing. Great Job Cadets! (And imagine how much money was spent on different uniforms, shoes, color guard outfits, flags, drum shells etc.)
